Alexandra Staseson is a singer / songwriter and actress from Vancouver, Canada. A member of SOCAN, UBCP/ACTRA, The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, MusicBC and SaskMusic, she recorded her first single Big Love / Mirrors with Don Miguel and is currently songwriting and recording in Los Angeles and Nashville towards her full album release, ‘Lovers, Rock & Roll’ in 2017, as well as her endeavours songwriting with other artists.

With passions for film and music, Alexandra has worked with Cameron Crowe as an actress/ singer on ‘Roadies’ (Showtime), music in a Hallmark Film, and has a specific interest in writing and creating songs to be used in film and television. The controversial 'musical' short-film she wrote the music and lyrics for, The Dancing Cop, by Kelvin Redvers, was due to subject matter about a police officer confronting a First Nations/ Native American man. The film premiered at TIFF/ Toronto International Film Festival 2012, and screened at ImagineNative Film Festival, and was nominated for Best Short Film at Oldenburg Film Festival.

Her band, Alexandra and the Fellas have played at NXNE in Toronto, Whistler Film Festival Showcase and ‘MusicCafe’, The Railway Club and Arts Club as well as various venues in Canada/ USA. Alexandra is represented by talent agent Esther Cohen at Carrier Talent in Vancouver, BC. She is currently in Nashville writing and recording a song for a feature film. News to come!
